This project provided an educational experience for me because I was able to control how many pictures I take and focus on taking minimal, good quality pictures instead of taking a high quantity of not-so-great images. It really forced me to take my time during the shot and make sure everything was just right before I shot. It was also a test of patience as I had to search for numbers or think of creative ways to portray things.

I learned that it doesn't take a lot of editing to make a picture look decent if you just do it right the first time. I also learned that creativity can help your pictures out so much, but that creativity also needs to be paired with good CLUES. Ahhh see what I did there???

Goal

My goal for this class is to undergo more specific photo shoots that will make me an all-around better photographer. I already know what I like, and what I enjoy shooting, but there are instances where people ask me to do other things for them and I feel like I haven't undergone enough struggle and experience to make the photographs work. I love photography and especially love unconventional portraits that portray a story through symbolism. However, I want to be able to shoot everything a lot better. I want to be able to shoot buildings, events, still life, and everything else that can be included in the plethora of photography.

Another goal that I want to achieve is just having an excuse and reason to shoot more pictures. I want an excuse to shoot things that I'm not good at or not experienced at shooting and I'm excited for this class to get me out there and shoot more.
